Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Lamar, CO

Prowers Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an inpatient role in Lamar, Colorado. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

In this role, you will:

• Implement selected components of patient and client interventions and treatment plans
• Obtain data related to interventions provided and make modifications to ensure patient progress, safety, and comfort
• Treat individuals of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings
• Work with patients, staff, physicians, visitors, and administration
• Operate required equipment and perform technical procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years of physical therapy experience; inpatient experience required, outpatient experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current credentialing by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Professions and Occupations, State Physical Therapy Board
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication skills
• Bilingual capabilities helpful
