Occupational Therapist

Opportunity:

OT - Therapy Rehab Inpatient

Job Details:

• Day shift position
• 1 weekend day required per month
• Scrubs: Royal blue required
• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to restore or improve patient function in activities of daily living, functional mobility, cognitive tasks, strength, coordination, and range of motion
• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans and select appropriate treatment activities to progress patients toward goals
• Revise goals and plan of care with patient and family input
• Provide ongoing patient and family education, training, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, plans of care, goals, and discharge plans
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and required paperwork according to departmental guidelines and protocols
• Adhere to departmental dress code policy, including wearing and displaying ID badge appropriately
• Utilize materials and equipment in a safe and cost-effective manner
• Apply AIDET principles in all patient interactions
• Required education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Required certifications: OT - Occupational Therapist license and BLS (AHA), ARC-BLS, or BLS-I
• Effective communication skills, customer service focus, team orientation, and basic computer skills required
