RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as needed with standard expectation of every other full weekend
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4 in a 14-bed unit
• Work with cardiac stepdown patients including heart, lung, and vascular conditions
• Care for progressive level patients including cardiology, stepdown from OR & ICU, sepsis, pneumonia, and oncology patients
• Manage equipment including lines, chest tubes, and vaso drips
• Must have EPIC experience - required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• 1+ years of nursing experience required
• Previous stepdown experience required
• Float requirements as customary within scope
• IV therapy competency including central line care required
• Dress code requires black scrubs
• Contract duration 13-26 weeks with up to 5 days time off per 13 weeks automatically approved
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday
• Must be a dedicated team player with great communication skills
