Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Springfield, MO

You will join Mercy Hospital Springfield as an Interventional Radiology Technologist on a 13-week travel assignment. This role offers you the opportunity to work day shift Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and invasive procedures across various anatomy and pathology, including oncology, dialysis, neurology, and pulmonary embolism cases
• Operate specialized Siemens imaging equipment to produce optimal quality examinations
• Provide 1:1 patient care during procedures, including scrub assistance and image recording
• Administer contrast materials and review medication reconciliation forms
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Support the care team and document findings in the EPIC Radiant EMR system
• Float as required by facility needs

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification and minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience
• BLS certification from AHA
• Preferred: Advanced registry certifications (CI, VI, or RCIS)

Schedule Details

Call coverage is required, including one to two weekends per month plus 4–6 weekdays per month. Green surgical scrubs are provided daily and must remain within the facility.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $3,153.60. Your assignment begins February 18, 2026.
