<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>CT Technologist - CT Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work night shifts from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday<br>• GE experience is required and considered a deal breaker if not possessed<br>• 3-5 years of CT experience required<br>• Must be licensed in Massachusetts and ARRT(CT) certified<br>• Graduate of AMA approved educational program in Radiological Technology required<br>• Required certifications: ARRT (CT), BLS Certification<br>• Operate GE VCT and Evo/Evolution equipment<br>• Follow hospital protocol for exam routines and produce quality studies efficiently<br>• Properly warm up CT scanner, run QA, and operate pressure injector, PACS units, and Meditech<br>• Complete CT procedures effectively including patient feedback and room cleaning<br>• Adjust and manipulate images to required specifications including windowing, contrast, and algorithm adjustments<br>• Knowledge required of scanners, Med Rad injectors, PACS, VRC, and Powerscribe systems<br>• Select proper scanning levels based on field of scan and organ selection<br>• Ensure proper identification and documentation of all scans with appropriate patient information<br>• Complete administrative duties including tech editing, patient escort, and room preparation<br>• Report wet reading findings to physicians, Emergency Department, and nursing units<br>• Restore prior exams for radiologist review and create CDs when requested<br>• Maintain stock levels and keep work areas clean and functional<br>• Work in acute care setting with Trauma Level 2 designation<br>• Use MEDITECH charting system</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides advanced diagnostic imaging services including state-of-the-art CT technology.
