Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Valentine, NE

You will work as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Cherry County Hospital in Valentine, Nebraska. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning May 11, 2026.

Position Details

• Work 5 days per week on day shift: 8-hour days from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 10-hour days from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, each with one hour lunch break
• Provide physical therapy services in inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings
• Weekly pay: $1,628

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Nebraska or Compact State
• Active BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Two professional references from the past three years, including one supervisor reference
• Valid driver's license or government-issued ID

Additional Qualifications

• New graduates will be considered
• Skills checklist must be completed within one year of submittal
• Annual competency exam with 80% passing score required
• Complete Joint Commission I, II, III modules annually with 80% passing score
• Health screenings and immunizations required: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, and COVID-19
• Annual drug screening and background check required
