PT - Physical Therapist Inpatient

Job Details:

• Full-time physical therapist position for maternity leave coverage in acute rehabilitation
• Block scheduling with 12 Saturday shifts per contract
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a 58-bed unit
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in hospital acute care or inpatient acute rehabilitation
• Experience with neurological patients is required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience required with 50-mile travel requirement
• Required certifications: CA PT License and BLS (must be AHA certified)
• All certifications must be in hand at time of submittal
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Valid state license required at time of submission
• 7-year work history verification required
• Non-billable modules completed during orientation (average 1-5 hours)
• Two pre-approved time off periods allowed
• Only one holiday will be approved for RTO
• Work with specialized equipment including BariHab, LIKO lifts, Sara Steady, EKSO robotic device, and Bits Balance
• Provide care for patients with CVA, SCI, TBI, amputation, cardiac, oncology, multi-trauma, and elective spinal surgery diagnoses
