Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Responsible for delivery of respiratory therapy and patient care following physician's orders, hospital policies and departmental standards
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures
• Evaluate patient/resident response to respiratory therapy and take appropriate corrective action
• Provide education to patients and staff regarding respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions
• Perform routine maintenance and service checks on equipment
• Maintain records, reports, and other documentation related to work
• On-call responsibilities required
• Work every third weekend
• 2+ years of RRT experience required
• Must be trained in ventilator, BiPAP, ICU, ER, and ABG procedures
• Required certifications: BLS, NBRC
• ACLS certification preferred
• Michigan state license required
