Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for their Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel position starting July 6, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3x12 day shifts: 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Up to 2 call shifts per month (7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM on Saturday or Sunday)
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Weekly pay: $1,425.60

Role Responsibilities

• Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units and sister facilities
• Support a broad range of surgical cases including orthopaedic (total joints, spine, trauma), neuro (cranial, spine), ENT (flaps), robotics, transplants and procurements, trauma and burns, and GU/GYN procedures

Experience and Requirements

• Minimum 2 years surgical technologist experience
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Current NBSTSA certification (NCCT not accepted)
• BLS certification
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• First-time travelers accepted

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in neuro cases (spines and cranial)
• Experience in ENT flap procedures
• Experience with robotics, specifically da Vinci Xi systems
