Opportunity:

PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant Inpatient

Job Details:

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills as a member of the interdisciplinary team in the provision and management of patient care
• Inpatient setting within a Level 3 Trauma Center
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekend coverage assistance may be requested when candidate is available; float off the week prior if working a Saturday and the week following if working a Sunday
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Guaranteed 16 hours NBO per week
• Billable OT applies between 36-40 hours per week depending on applicable terms
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
• Limit of 1 day off request between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27
• Scrub color: Dark Grey/Charcoal
• EMR: EPIC
• PTA experience required
• First-time traveler accepted
• All candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Mandatory Reporter certification required
• Active Iowa Physical Therapy Assistant license required
• Active BLS certification required (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted)
• Skills checklist specific to PTA discipline required
• 1 Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last two years required
• Valid driver's license required
