CT Technologist Job in Papillion, NE

You will work as a CT Technologist at CHI Health Midlands in Papillion, Nebraska. This is a combined CT and general X-ray position on a night shift, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM. There are no weekend or on-call requirements, though you may be asked to provide holiday coverage around Christmas.

Your responsibilities include performing a variety of imaging studies across both modalities:

• Portable imaging, stroke protocols, general CT, angiography CT, and general X-ray studies
• Operating Siemens CT scanners and GE portable X-ray equipment
• Managing 10–20 scans and studies per day on average
• Using EPIC, Merge, and RealRads systems for charting and image management
• Completing code cart checks, quality control procedures, and routine nightly duties

You will work independently as the sole technologist on the night shift. The department operates 2 scanners/rooms and provides CT and general X-ray services only. There is no on-site radiologist or Registered Radiologic Assistant support during your shift, so you must be comfortable working autonomously.

Requirements:

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ARRT-CT certification
• RT (Radiologic Technologist) credential
• Valid driver's license (required at time of application)

Appearance Standards:

• Gray scrubs required (not provided by facility)
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas

This assignment is 91 days, beginning July 20, 2026. You will be placed directly with CHI Health Midlands, a major health system facility.
