<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>SLP - Speech Language Pathologist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 10-hour shifts Wednesday through Saturday from 7:45 AM to 6:15 PM (start time negotiable)<br>• Provide in-home speech-language pathology services to assist clients with communication deficits<br>• Implement treatment programs under general supervision of therapy manager<br>• 13-week assignment with possible conversion to permanent position<br>• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred<br>• Master&#39;s degree in Speech Pathology required (bachelor&#39;s minimum)<br>• One year of speech pathology experience in a health setting required<br>• Must have reliable transportation and telephone<br>• Current State of Michigan driver&#39;s license and satisfactory driving record required<br>• Certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology required<br>• BLS certification required<br>• Strong documentation skills required<br>• Self-starter with excellent communication skills<br>• Cerner and Epic experience are a plus<br>• Must have sufficient physical energy and tolerance to meet job demands<br>• Knowledge of normal communications process, development and disorders required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This comprehensive health system operates multiple hospitals, medical centers, and outpatient facilities throughout southeastern Michigan.
