Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - CCU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• Every other weekend requirement<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• No floating required<br>• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for IMCU patients<br>• Must have experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, post-op cardiovascular surgeries, and CRRT<br>• Care for patients with DKA, acute respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator-dependent patients<br>• Work in a mixed cardiac and medical ICU setting<br>• Required certifications: BLS via AHA and ACLS via AHA<br>• Current Louisiana RN license or current Compact state license required<br>• One year of Critical Care experience preferred but will accept new graduates<br>• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire<br>• Precepted by designated trained staff member during initial on-boarding<br>• Must complete organizational entry competency validation and Critical Care Department-specific competency validation<br>• Temporary to permanent position possibility</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a mixed cardiac and medical intensive care unit providing comprehensive critical care services.
