Job Details:

• Day shift schedule working 3x12s or 4x12s
• Med/Surg experience required; Behavioral/psychiatric and Pediatrics experience preferred
• Candidates must be willing to care for patients with behavioral health needs
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience required
• Must be licensed to work in both MO and KS (or compact license)
• Required certifications: PALS and BLS (AHA only - RQI certifications not accepted)
• Previous experience with Pediatrics preferred
• Provide care to a diverse pediatric population in an 18-bed unit specializing in short-stay care
• Care for patients with conditions including appendectomies, tonsil and adenoidectomies, viral illnesses, ingestions requiring medical clearance, and behavioral health concerns with underlying medical needs
• Float between main campus and sister hospital located in Overland Park, KS approximately 12 miles southwest of the main campus
• Medication/dosage test administered during first week requiring 100% pass score with up to 3 attempts
