Cath Lab Technologist Job in Portland, OR

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, supporting complex cardiac interventions in a 7-room facility equipped with state-of-the-art Philips Azurion systems.

Schedule and Duration

• 5x10 day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call requirement includes approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
• 91-day assignment starting June 15, 2026
• Low census cancellations possible with 1.5 hours notice, maximum one shift per two-week pay period

Your Role

• Perform as first assistant to the operator during complex cardiac interventions
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Manage balloon and stent preparation and deployment
• Assist with insertion of Impella CP, RP, 5.5, IABP, Manifold, and related devices
• Support pericardiocentesis procedures
• Operate advanced equipment including OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, and drug-coated balloon systems
• Float within the site and across the system as needed

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab and Angio experience with scrub experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ARRT-R certification
• OBMI Oregon state license
• Ability to complete assigned education within one week of assignment start
