NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• 3 years of NICU experience strongly preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Self-scheduling available
• Patient ratios: 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Floating may be required to Mother Baby, L&D, and Pediatrics areas
• 4 weekend shifts required in a 6-week period
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, NIHSS
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Care for neonates and infants in 18-bed unit with daily census of 13
• Skills include administration of blood products, arterial line management, ventilator management, high frequency ventilation, central line care, and developmental care
• Experience with NICU levels II, III, and IV preferred
• Must be comfortable with specialized equipment including oscillators, bubble CPAP, and umbilical catheters
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• On-site drug screening required with comprehensive panel testing
