PICU RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You'll provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health. Your patients will present with health problems ranging from straightforward to highly complex, requiring your clinical attention and skill.

Your responsibilities include:

• Manage an assigned group of patients and document their responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations, and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed and manage intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and discharge planning
• Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• PALS certification from American Heart Association
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients

Position details: You'll work 3x12 night shifts for an 89-day assignment beginning April 13, 2026, earning $2,930.40 weekly.
