Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts available: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work on a 25 private-bed unit on the 2nd floor (23 floor beds and 2 Medical Decision Unit beds)
• Patient population includes COPD exacerbation, CHF, swing bed patients, amputations, wound care, long-term antibiotics, as well as some postpartum and pediatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:4 with 1:5 as a stretch; Charge Nurse available on every shift and does not take patients
• Central telemetry monitoring with two portable telemetry monitors
• Charting system: Meditech Expanse; Pumps: Alaris
• May float to the ED but will only function as a task nurse
• Scrubs: Navy Blue
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit required
• Previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital required
• Experience with Meditech Expanse computer charting preferred
• BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) required; PALS preferred
• Must have reliable personal transportation as Uber and Lyft services are not available in the area
