ICU RN Job in Boise, ID

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at St Lukes Boise Medical Center in Boise, ID. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 2, 2026, offering 3 shifts per week at 12 hours each, working nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Compensation and Schedule

• Weekly pay: $2,102.40
• 3x12 night shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage as needed with accommodation for requests
• No on-call or standby requirements
• 1–2 shift orientation period

Clinical Responsibilities

You will maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2. Your duties include titrating critical drips (dopamine, epinephrine, norepinephrine, cardene, nitro, neo, vasopressin, diltiazem, insulin, esmolol), monitoring cardiac strips using Spacelabs equipment, and managing ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP. You will care for patients with CABG, CVA, subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracerebral brain hemorrhage, GI bleeds, DKA, STEMI, septic shock, overdose, respiratory failure, and neurosurgery patients. You may also be assigned as a 1:1 sitter outside the ICU as needed.

Facility and Floating

You will float to other ICUs in the Valley, including Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center. The facility uses EPIC charting and has no scrub color or dress code requirements.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience, preferably in similar size or larger ICU and hospital
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• BSN not required
