Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Details:

• 8-hour day shifts, majority of work hours Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexible scheduling
• Every 3rd weekend requirement
• Minor holidays required, major holidays only if needed
• Assigned to a geographical region for home-based care coverage
• Work within a PT, OT, and Speech unit providing home-based care
• Use Cerner EMR for charting
• Treat patients with common diagnoses including orthopedic conditions, strokes, joint injuries, and spinal injuries
• Business attire with white lab coat required; no jeans permitted
• 1.5 to 2 weeks of floor-specific orientation provided
• Must have experience with OASIS (government-mandated form)
• Minimum one year of experience working in PT, OT, or Speech required
• Home setting experience preferred but not required
• BLS Certification required
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
