Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required, with 3+ years preferred
• Med/Surg experience required, oncology experience highly preferred
• Charge nurse experience is a plus
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA or ARC)
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Assess patient needs including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Participate in interdisciplinary team collaboration and evaluation of patient care
• Develop relationships with families to promote advocacy for patients
• Participate in education programs and professional development activities
• Must be fluent in English (read, write, speak)
