OR RN Job in Bozeman, MT

You are a Registered Nurse with at least 18 months of clinical experience, and you're ready to work in a dynamic operating room environment. Bozeman Deaconess Hospital is seeking an OR RN for a rotating day shift position with call coverage responsibility.

The Role

You will collect and assess comprehensive patient data, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions that promote patient safety and health. You will collaborate closely with patients, families, and the surgical healthcare team. Sound judgment, patience, and a professional demeanor are essential as you work in a busy, high-acuity environment. You must demonstrate strong problem analysis and decision-making skills under pressure.

Position Details

• Rotating day shift with call coverage required
• Flexibility to cover all shifts as needed
• 91-day contract duration
• Start date June 26, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,496.60

Requirements

• Current Montana Registered Nurse licensure
• Bachelor's degree from accredited School of Nursing, Associate degree, or Diploma
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Minimum 18 months of Registered Nurse experience
• Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
• 1 year of circulating experience
• 1 year of scrub experience

The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances. You will integrate research findings and ethical provisions into all areas of your nursing practice and comply with hospital policies and protocols.
