ED RN Job in Tomball, TX

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work in a 6-bed emergency department providing standard emergency care
• Patient ratio of 4-to-1 with team nursing approach
• Day shift staffing includes 2 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 Rad Tech, and 1 Physician
• Night shift staffing includes 2 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 Rad Tech, and 1 Physician
• Work with equipment including Lucas Device, EKG Machine, BiPaP, Glidescope and general ER equipment
• Perform typical procedures including EKG monitoring, blood draws, and medication administration
• Must have minimum 1 year of Critical Care in ICU or Emergency Room experience
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Rotating weekends required with on-call availability if necessary (but not required)
• Freestanding emergency department experience and lab experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Dress code requires Royal Blue HCA scrubs
• EMR system: Meditech
• No floating to other areas required
