Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Fort Smith, AR

You will work as an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Mercy Hospital Fort Smith, assisting the radiologist and performing physician during interventional and special procedures. This is a day shift position with no call, no float, and no weekend requirements.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assist radiologist and performing physician in interventional and special procedures
• Provide essential patient care during examinations
• Maintain sterile technique and sterile fields during procedures
• Position and immobilize patients for various procedures
• Perform exams on outpatients, inpatients, ICU, and ER patients including trauma cases
• Obtain appropriate clinical history and document information
• Obtain informed consent when necessary
• Correctly obtain and administer contrast materials for patient exams
• Operate oxygen, suction, blood pressure, and other essential patient care equipment
• Transfer patients safely to and from stretchers, wheelchairs, and procedure tables
• Work with EPIC EMR system

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience
• ARRT certification
• RT(R) certification
• Black scrubs required
