ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:4, with ratios based on acuity
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities
• Previous charge experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, CPI
• Preferred certifications: TNCC
• Experience with General Emergency Department (combined adult and pediatric) and triage required
• Treat diverse patient population including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Emergency department has 27 rooms with approximately 80 patient visits per day
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and more
• Holiday rotation required as needed
• Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block scheduling approval can be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
• All requested time off must be included at time of submission; approval based on facility needs
• Self-scheduling
