Physical Therapist Job in Portland, ME

MaineHealth Care at Home – Cumberland Division is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel position. You'll provide skilled physical therapy services to patients in their homes throughout the Portland area.

Position Details

• Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with some weekend days and compensation days
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Weekend hours: 16 required per week
• No on-call requirements
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: May 10, 2026

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy
• Valid Maine Physical Therapy License
• BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum 3 years of physical therapy experience
• Home care experience preferred

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,920

This is a contractor replacement and backfill role. You'll work in a home care setting, delivering direct patient care and rehabilitation services. The position offers predictable daytime hours with a structured schedule that includes weekend compensation, making it suitable for clinicians seeking stability while traveling.
