Job Details:

• Perform imaging examinations on patients of all ages, from newborn through geriatric
• Contribute to the efficient operations of the department while ensuring quality and continuity of patient care
• Utilize specialized training in mammography modality to provide excellent patient care
• Perform responsibilities of receptionist/clerk or other department duties as needed
• Perform mammography studies including routine screening and specialized diagnostic views
• Initial training in digital mammography and tomosynthesis required
• Recent x-ray experience preferred, Fuji experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program with dedicated mammography training preferred
• Current registration with ARRT (R)(M) or equivalent required; current ARRT registration may be accepted in lieu of accredited graduation
• Two years post-graduation experience preferred
• Meets current MQSA requirements including 15 breast CEU within 36 months and 200 mammography exams in 24 months preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Guaranteed hours of 40 per week (note: orientation begins on a Tuesday, so guaranteed hours will not apply during the first week)
