Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 8-week contract assignment with ASAP start date
• 4 weekend shifts required per 6 weeks
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of RRT experience required
• Adult critical care and emergency department experience required
• Special care nursery and women's and infants experience highly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• RRT or CRT license required with Maryland license in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Work with patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform skills including aerosol setups, BiPAP/CPAP, drawing arterial blood gases, ET tube management, mechanical ventilation weaning, tracheostomy care, and various airway management procedures
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
