Occupational Therapist Travel Job in Overland Park, KS

Join Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas as a traveling Occupational Therapist for an 8-week assignment. You will work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in a float position across all units within the facility.

Your Role

You will deliver occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to acute care and rehabilitation patients. Your daily caseload will consist of 8–10 acute care patients or 4 rehabilitation patients, depending on unit assignment. You will work with a range of equipment including Hoyer lifts, EZ Stands, BITS devices, and Xcite equipment to support patient mobility and functional goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy assessments and treatment plans
• Operate equipment for patient transfers and mobility support
• Document care and treatment outcomes in the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of 11–12 occupational therapists on staff
• Support the facility's growing inpatient rehabilitation unit with a focus on patient care excellence
• Weekend assignment with Saturday and Sunday coverage

Requirements and Details

You must hold current BCLS certification. Inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Professional appearance and any color scrubs are expected.

Compensation and Timeline

You will earn $2,044 per week for this 56-day assignment, starting July 6, 2026. This is a 5 days per week, 8-hour shift schedule.
