ED Registered Nurse Job in Wichita Falls, TX

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at United Regional in Wichita Falls, TX. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of July 13, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 4x12 hour night shifts
• 36/48 hour alternating schedule with 84 hours biweekly and 72-hour guarantee
• Weekly pay: $2,799.36
• Block scheduling

Your Role

• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients of all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in a 62-room emergency department with daily census of 190
• Weekend coverage required
• 48 hours of orientation provided, plus 2–3 hours of non-billable modules during first 16 hours

Requirements

• 3 years of emergency nursing experience preferred; 2 years acceptable if from a high-volume or trauma facility
• Travel experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Current licenses and certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• License in-hand before start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions available)
