Job Details:

• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend shifts required
• Missouri state license required
• Minimum 1 year of OTA experience required
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• OTA license required
• Help patients perform exercises and treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Monitor patient progress to ensure successful completion of treatment
• Encourage patients throughout their recovery process
• Help patients improve their quality of life by identifying solutions to their challenges
• Assist injured employees in improving motor skills with the goal of re-entering the workforce
• Teach patients with disabilities to become more independent
• Update and maintain patient records for the Occupational Therapist
• Keep the office, treatment room, and equipment in good order
• Collect patients' medical history and other personal information
• Teach patients, family members, and caregivers skills and techniques to support the patients' treatment program
