Occupational Therapist Job in Wichita, KS

Wesley Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on a 5x8 schedule, with every other weekend required. Weekly pay is $2,044.

You will join a 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with approximately 15–20 therapy staff daily across PT, OT, and SLP disciplines. Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting evaluations and delivering treatments focused on activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
• Carrying a treatment load of up to 6 hours within your 8-hour shift
• Operating equipment including ESTIM devices, patient lifts, ADL equipment, gym equipment, and an IADL kitchen
• Documenting and tracking patient therapy time and charges to ensure each patient meets the required 3-hour therapy requirement
• Using the Meditech EMR system for clinical documentation

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care OT experience
• Active Kansas occupational therapy licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Strong teamwork and flexibility with treatment scheduling

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Lymphedema certification
• Neuro certification or relevant experience

The assignment begins June 29, 2026. You will be expected to be a collaborative team player with flexibility around treatment start and stop times in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment.
