CT Technologist Job in New Orleans, LA

Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work a 5x8 day shift schedule earning $2,840 weekly, with a start date of June 22, 2026.

Role Overview

You will perform CT imaging across multiple settings: the Emergency Department, inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and satellite locations within walking distance of the main campus. You will work with patients across all age groups—neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The department operates 7 CT rooms and uses GE equipment.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience in a clinical setting
• Documented experience in ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT environments
• Epic electronic health record experience
• GE equipment experience
• BLS certification
• Louisiana state license or multistate compact license required at time of application
• Prior travel healthcare experience required—first-time travelers are not accepted
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (local applicants ineligible)

Assignment Details

You will float between the ED, main campus, and outpatient clinics. During the five-day orientation period, billable modules are included in your training. You are required to work holidays that fall on scheduled workdays. You may be assigned to the Emergency Team during emergency events and are expected to remain on site. Call-ins are strictly managed per facility policy.

You must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of contract execution. This is a straightforward CT technologist role focused on quality patient care and procedural excellence across a busy hospital system.
