Telemetry RN Job in Burlington, NC

Cone Health – Alamance Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Telemetry unit in Burlington, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026.

Schedule & Pay

• 3x12 hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required; holidays as needed
• Weekly pay: $2,073.60

Role Overview

You will care for adult and geriatric patients with multiple co-morbidities in a 29-room unit with daily census of 29 patients. Your patient ratio will be 1:5–6 nurses to patients. You will provide specialized care for stroke (neuro) patient populations and must float to all Cone Health facilities as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Telemetry remote monitoring and on-unit monitoring experience
• EPIC charting system experience
• IV access, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management
• Feeding tube care and management
• Peripheral and central line care and management
• CVA and nasal cannula experience
• Isolation precautions and wound care/wound vac experience

Required Certifications

• BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Must pass mandatory Pass/Fail EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)

Orientation & Expectations

You will receive 24-hour unit orientation. The facility maintains a zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. Reliability and punctuality are essential.
