Registered Nurse - Operating Room @ MUSC Health Charleston

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Holiday rotation required including 1 weekend working shift
• On-call required up to 4 weeknight call shifts per 4-week schedule
• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units/sister facilities
• 2 years of experience strongly preferred, first-timers accepted
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (provided by agency)
• SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• RN's are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
• Work with all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
• Use EPIC charting system
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• All employees and contractors assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Parking permit available for $20 registration fee
