ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 91-day travel assignment at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX. This role offers 3x12-hour night shifts with weekly pay of $1,918.08.

Position Overview

You will provide respiratory therapy services across multiple patient populations, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. You'll manage all pulmonary processes including trauma cases and work with specialized equipment such as jet and oscillatory ventilation systems, PB 980 ventilators, V-60 for non-invasive ventilation, nitric oxide delivery systems, and Istat point-of-care blood gas analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Current RRT certification (CRT not accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
  • NICU experience is mandatory
  • Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
  • Flu vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions allowed)
  • Ability to start within 3–5 weeks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Travel healthcare experience
  • Previous charge nurse or respiratory lead experience
  • Cerner charting system experience

Schedule Details

You'll work 3 consecutive night shifts on a block schedule. The contract includes 9 weekend shifts and requires weekend coverage. Alternative 36/48 alternating schedules may be available. The facility provides 24 hours of orientation.
