Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 4 shifts of 9 hours each, scheduled from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No call, no weekends, and no holiday shifts required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology required
• Must have completed at least 1 previous travel assignment
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must be able to function independently with minimal orientation and safely assume responsibilities from day one
• Charting systems used: Cerner, Visage, and MedConnect
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• No float requirement
• Required skills include: Interventional Radiology, vascular services, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), antihypertensives, central venous access/port placement, chest tube placement, dialysis graft interventional, emergency medications, endovascular interventions, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, lung biopsy, monitoring procedural sedation, nephrostomy, paracentesis, pre/post procedure care, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, pulmonary angiography, pulmonary embolization, radiation and laser safety, renal angiography, renal artery stent placement, special procedures, starting and maintaining IVs, stent graft placement, thoracentesis, and thrombolytics
