Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating to other units required
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Care for patients on Oncology, Hematology, Nephrology, Endocrine, GI, Dermatology, and General Medicine units
• 56-bed unit serving adult patients (18 years and older)
• Common diagnoses include cancer, oncology, hematology, ESRD, diabetes, GI conditions, abdominal pain, dermatology, and general medicine
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, chest tubes, and specialty beds (sand beds)
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS, Chemo Certification
• 2+ years of Med Surg/Oncology experience required
• Travel experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• RTO must be provided at time of submission
