Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 13-week assignment with no on-call responsibilities
• No floating requirements between units
• Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts per contract
• Patient ratios: 3 patients during days, 1 patient on weekends
• Perform approximately 8 visits per day in 3-room nuclear medicine department
• Work with patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: ARRT N, CNMT or NMTCB, and BLS
• 2 years of experience required, previous charge experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Any scrub color acceptable
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must complete Pass/Fail exam within first 3 attempts
• Skills include nuclear cardiology, PET scans, bone scans, MUGA scans, HIDA scans, starting and maintaining IVs, and proper handling of radioactive materials
• PA fingerprints and childline clearance required
• Must complete labs within 48 hours of signing
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
