Anesthesia Tech - Anesthesia Tech

Job Details:

• 5x8 shift schedule, Monday through Friday
• Operating room work setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Daily census of 35-40 cases per day including Cath Lab
• Adult-only patient population
• Heavy focus on total joints and orthopedics, general surgery, vascular, GYN, robotics, cardiac, urology, ENT, and breast procedures
• No neurology, spine, or mother/baby cases
• Minimum 3 years of anesthesia tech experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience required
• Strong cardiac experience required
• Call required on weekdays and weekends after hours
• Charting system: Epic
• Required certifications: ACLS, ASATT, BLS, Cer.A.T., Cer.A.T.T.
• Required skills include: anesthesia machine operation and troubleshooting, aseptic technique, breathing circuits, emergency intubations, endotracheal tube management, GlideScope, IV catheters and arterial line catheters, laryngoscope blades, operating room safety, patient positioning and transport, rapid infuser, room set-up and turnover, standard monitors, sterilization and disinfection of equipment, and universal protocol/time out procedures
