Pharmacy Technician Job in York, PA

WellSpan York Hospital is seeking an inpatient Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. You will work in a fast-paced hospital setting, supporting medication preparation and distribution for patients across all age groups.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM, plus every 3rd or 4th Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: July 6, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,532.45
• Location: York, PA (may float to Apple Hill location, 2 miles away)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
• Pennsylvania state pharmacy technician license (in hand)
• Current certifications: Chemo/Hazardous Drug, CPHt, and IV Certification
• EPIC and Pyxis system experience
• IV training and experience with hazardous and non-hazardous preparations

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products
• Compound IV mixtures and chemotherapy preparations
• Demonstrate proficiency in aseptic technique
• Operate pharmacy automation systems
• Support inpatient medication needs for neonatal through geriatric patients
• Work holidays as needed
