SLP Inpatient Job in Lawton, OK

Memorial Health System of Southwest Oklahoma is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist for inpatient care in Lawton, OK. This is a temporary position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour days
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: May 18, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,448

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and clinical services for inpatients and outpatients
• Treat patients across all age groups: infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Address speech and language problems, cognitive deficits, voice and fluency disorders, and swallowing issues
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team approach
• May float between inpatient and outpatient rehab departments
• Some weekend coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of SLP experience
• Licensed as certified speech pathologist in Oklahoma or eligible for licensure
• Current NIH and BLS (AHA) certifications
• Skills checklist current within one year
• Two supervisory reference forms from within the last two years

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with neurogenic patients and dysphagia
• Recent travel experience
• ACLS certification
