Physical Therapist Job in Prescott, AZ

Join Yavapai Regional Medical Center – West as a Physical Therapist in our outpatient rehabilitation department. This is a 91-day contract position starting June 29, 2026, offering a competitive weekly rate of $2,336.

Role Overview

You will treat 8–10 patients per day in our outpatient setting, working 5x8 rotating shifts with hours between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM. There are no weekend or holiday requirements, allowing for predictable scheduling. You'll work alongside PTAs and Rehab Technicians in a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care.

Patient Population & Specialties

Our patient base is predominantly geriatric, with conditions including:

• General orthopedic injuries
• Neurological disorders
• BPPV and vestibular dysfunction
• Fall prevention and management

Requirements

• 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience
• EMR experience required
• Current BLS and CPR certifications
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system preferred

A department-specific orientation will prepare you for our environment, processes, and EMR workflows. You'll have support from experienced staff and access to the tools needed to deliver quality care.

Workplace Details

Dress code is burgundy scrubs (top and bottom) or a burgundy polo shirt with dark pants. The facility operates under a cancellation policy allowing up to 4 shifts per contract (or 3 shifts if your contract is under 13 weeks).

Eligibility

You cannot have been employed with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities within the past year. The 50-mile radius rule applies to this assignment.
