Operating Room RN Job in Salinas, CA

Natividad Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a travel position with an 88-week duration, starting June 22, 2026. You will work 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each, with typical hours from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Weekly pay is $3,108.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist with anesthesia administration and ensure proper patient positioning throughout surgical procedures
• Perform sterile surgical skin preps at operative sites
• Maintain accurate and continuous counts of sponges and instruments during cases
• Safely transport, move, and position patients pre- and post-operatively
• Document patient care and surgical details in Meditech charting system
• Administer medications via Pyxis system
• Respond to call requirements as scheduled

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the State of California
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications issued through American Heart Association
• Demonstrated experience with multiple surgical procedures including Bariatric, Vascular, Ortho, Neuro, OB/GYN, General, Trauma, Urology, ENT, and Ophthalmology
