Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• Alternating weekend schedule required<br>• No call requirements<br>• Minimum 1 year of experience required<br>• Strong Med Surg experience required<br>• BLS certification required<br>• EPIC and ACLS preferred<br>• Patient ratios of 1:4-6 on an 8-bed unit<br>• Float requirements to any inpatient unit as customary<br>• Work in Clinical Decision Unit coordinating, planning, directing, and implementing nursing process<br>• Process high volume of admissions<br>• Care for typical ER observation and admission patients<br>• Work with EPIC electronic medical record system<br>• Required to wear black scrubs<br>• Must be a team player willing to help with pleasant and caring attitude towards patient outcomes<br>• Flu vaccination required for all travelers with client-approved exemptions only</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is a 245-bed Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center that provides comprehensive medical services to the community.
