Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for night shift laboratory work in Pittsfield, MA. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 16, 2026, with weekly pay of $1,603.

Position Requirements:

• MLS or MT certification required; MLT candidates are not eligible
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience with at least 1 year of current, hands-on experience
• National certification required; ASCP certification preferred (NCCT certification will not be considered)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Skills checklist pertinent to MLS position completed within the past year
• One supervisory signed reference from employment within the past two years

Shift and Scheduling:

• 24-hour night shift schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Must be available to work at least two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after with the weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the weekend after
• Holidays required if needed
• On-call status to be determined

• Personal vehicle required for assignment
