About this role
You'll work as an Anesthesia Technician at St Lukes Boise Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 14, 2026, with rotating 4x10 hour shifts in the Surgery Department.
What You'll Do
- Support 38 OR rooms including 17 Main OR, 4 CVOR, 3 CCL, 3 L&D, 2 Endo, and EP lab suites, plus imaging areas (MRI, CT, US, X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine)
- Clean and set up anesthesia machines, including circuit setup and machine checks
- Manage inventory for anesthesia machines, Omnicells, and supply cabinets with restocking and relocation as needed
- Assist CRNAs with arterial line setup (you will not start IVs)
- Respond to codes including OB Stat, Anesthesia Stat, Trauma, and Stroke Alerts
- Work with GE anesthesia machines and Mindray equipment
- Float within the department; rare potential to float to Meridian and Nampa ORs
Scheduling & Support
- Sunday shifts required with a set schedule
- Holiday shifts required unless pre-approved RTO is arranged
- Call shifts available but not required (30-minute response time)
- Cancellation policy allows 4 shift cancellations per 13-week assignment
- Department-specific orientation: 3 shifts
- Staff ratio: 8 employees supporting 38 rooms
Requirements
- Current BLS certification
- Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) or Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.T.) via ASATT — required with no exceptions
- Minimum 1 year of experience; first-time travelers welcome
- Pediatric experience preferred
- GE anesthesia machine and Mindray experience preferred

Compensation
Weekly pay: $1,872
