Pharmacy Tech - Pharmacy Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3rd shift in central pharmacy on the 2nd floor of B Tower Memorial Mission Hospital
• 7 on 7 off rotation schedule which includes weekends
• Rotation may start on Wednesday or Thursday
• Scrub color required: Forest green top and bottom, or black bottom; business casual also allowed
• Oversee technician staff and verify orders
• Perform clinical documentation and other operational needs of a central pharmacy
• Complete order verification and product checking/distribution
• Answer clinical questions from nurses and providers
• Work with equipment including Talyst Machine, Pyxis, LAFW, CAI, and EMR systems (Cerner, Vigilanz)
• Hospital experience required
• Experience overseeing the work of technicians required
• Emergency Department experience preferred
• Cerner and Vigilanz experience preferred
• 3rd shift experience preferred
• ACLS experience/certification preferred if working in Emergency Department
• Required certification: RPh in North Carolina
• Must be a team player, adaptable, able to handle a high-stress environment, and able to multitask
