CNA - CNA Skilled Nursing

Job Details:

• Must have a California CNA license
• Work in conjunction with nursing staff, residents, families and other facility departments
• Provide optimum individualized care for skilled nursing facility residents
• Shifts include some weekends and holidays
• May be required to float to other units as necessary
• Receive and give report on resident's condition and ensure understanding of care to be given
• Make rounds on each resident and assess all new residents
• Assess any resident who is ill, has fallen or sustained an injury
• Document assessments per facility policy
• Notify nurses of any changes in residents' conditions or current needs
• Assist with direct patient care and ensure call lights are answered promptly
• Maintain good working relationships with other departments, co-workers, residents, families and physicians
• Must have good communication skills and ability to work as a team player
