Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work with a variety of equipment including Drager ventilator, Jet ventilator, and Oscillator ventilator
• Treat patients of all ages with a primary focus on adults and NICU patients
• Level III NICU experience within the last 15 months required
• NICU experience within the last 18 months required
• Must be willing and able to float across different units throughout the hospital
• Weekends scheduled as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Scrubs: any color solid tops and bottoms
• EMR: Epic experience required
• 24 months of RRT/Respiratory experience in a hospital setting required
• No first-time travelers will be considered; must have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months
• Iowa Respiratory license highly preferred; licensing candidates accepted with 1-3 week turnaround time
• 36 months of current RRT/Respiratory Therapy experience required on work history/resume
• Skills checklist specific to Respiratory Therapy required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA), NRP, NBRC
• All certifications must be active
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months preferred
• Driver's license required
• Must work 1-2 of the upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
